Rob Whittall (Ozone kite designer) together with Matt Taggart (Ozone kites manager) went for a little flight across New Zealand with their new Viper2s. Matt and Rob both have a long history in the paragliding world, and they recently got themselves a couple of paramotors to use around their home site in New Zealand, and this is exactly the sort of adventure that they were imagining their new machines would be good for. Paramotoring is a brilliant sport, and it’s flights like these that make it all worthwhile - cruising around clouds and admiring a wonderful landscape from above, while traveling alone in the sky. PKRA MEXICO >> JOHNNY HEINEKEN 1ST COURSE RACING |

Ozone team rider Johnny Heineken was killing it in the course racing at the PKRA Mexico event, along with Andrew Koch and Riccardo Laccese, all riding their Edge kites. Once again Johnny proved he is the man to beat with seven 1st places out of the total twelve races, placing him 1st overall. Riccardo Laccese (4th) and Andy Koch (11th) also did incredibly well. Congrats guys!

PKRA MOROCCO >> KARI SCHIBEVAAG 1ST WOMENS WAVES |

Ozone team rider Kari Schibevaag had a great run at the recent PKRA event in Dakhla, Morocco. In the women’s wave riding division Kari was on fire with her clean, aggressive riding style confirming that she’s nothing less than an outstanding wave rider. Kari also maintained the highest scoring waves with an average of 15.34 until the last heat of the day, when mens winner Keahi De Aboitiz broke the high score in the men’s wave single elimination final with an average total score of 15.64. Well done Kari for this great result!

Once again some of the best snowkiters met at Europe’s biggest mountain plateau in Norway for one of the hardest snowkite endurance competitions – Red Bull Ragnarok. A challenging 100-kilometere long natural track, a mass start with 200 participants and fierce conditions once again highlighted the difficulty of this event.
Contgratulations to Ozone team rider Sigve Botnen for conquering the course using his Ozone C4, and coming in 1st in the mens Snowboard class!
